Interior design is the planning and documentation of how a home will be built on the inside. Choices are made with full awareness of what has already been built and what work is underway, so the interior design stays connected to the realities of construction rather than treated as a series of isolated selections.

What’s Included in the Interior Design Package

Briar Lane Interiors’ interior design package exists for the stretch of a renovation when everything is in motion and choices affect the build. Scope adjusts based on the needs of the project, but typically includes:

• Design consultations to discuss the details and vision for your interior design project
• Space planning for improved functionality and layout
• Design presentation to help you visualize the full concept and make changes as needed
• Budget and project management, including scheduling and coordination of contractors
• Selection of permanent fixtures such as cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, and fixtures
• Selection of soft goods like window treatments and upholstery
• Oversight throughout the entire demolition and installation process
• Furnishing and styling of the space with new and/or existing art, lighting, furniture, and accessories
